PURPOSE: A method for preparing alkoxy-substituted 1,2-bis silylethane is provided to obtain the compound of high yield. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing alkoxy-substituted 1,2-bis silylethane of general formula 1 comprises: a step of reacting a mixture of compounds of chemical formulas 2 and 3 and with alcohol of general formula 4; a step of treating the mixture under a reducible condition; and a step of converting the compound of chemical formula 5 into a compound of chemical formula 1.
