PURPOSE: A measurement error correction method of distance between sensor nodes and an apparatus thereof are provided to improve position recognition performance in real position recognition among position recognition technologies, thereby usefully being used in a specific service which is requiring high degree of precision among position based services. CONSTITUTION: A measurement error correction apparatus for distance between sensor nodes includes a distance measurement module(200), an error correction module(300), and a database(400). The distance measurement module measures the distance between censor nodes by receiving a distance measurement policy through an application program interface(API,100). The error correction module corrects a distance measurement error by receiving a mobile environment weighting factor. The database stores information with respect to the distance measurement error for each distance.
