<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a light detector and reduce the manufacturing cost of the light detector. <P>SOLUTION: In order to reduce an area in disposing a visible-light sensor and an infrared-light sensor, a first photodiode for detecting visible light and a second photodiode for detecting infrared light are superimposedly disposed. The configuration in which visible light is firstly absorbed by the first photodiode extremely reduces the visible light incident to the second photodiode. Additionally, the first photodiode that is superimposedly disposed with the second photodiode is used as an optical filter for the second photodiode. For this reason, a semiconductor layer constituting the first photodiode absorbs visible light and transmits infrared light, and a semiconductor layer of the second photodiode absorbs the infrared light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
