<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device, an information providing program and an information providing method which can provide information indicating electric energy consumption of an apparatus according to a location of a user. <P>SOLUTION: An information providing device 100 comprises an electric energy consumption storage unit 107 for storing information indicating an electric energy consumption amount of each apparatus that is acquired for each area of an establishment in association with area identification information identifying an area. Based on a signal confirming a location that is received from a terminal device 200 used by a user, the information providing device 100 discriminates an area of the establishment in which the terminal device 200 is located, and acquires information indicating an electric energy consumption amount of each apparatus arranged in the discriminated area from the electric energy consumption storage unit 107.
