<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop circular saw which can efficiently discharge chips by preventing the scattering of the chips or the blockage of a dust collecting passage. <P>SOLUTION: In the desktop circular saw 1 with an upper table, the second dust collecting passage 32 the front end of which is opened forward the first dust collecting passage 27 and communicates with the inside of the body 7 at the specified down position of the body 7 and the rear end of which is opened to the outside under the topside of a turn table 3, is formed within the turn table 3 of a base 2 in which the first dust collecting passage which allows the entry of a saw edge 8 by the down of the body 7 and guides chips rearward accompanying the rotation of the saw edge 8 is formed. Thus, the chips generated when cutting a material to be cut on the upper table 18 at the specified down position of the body 7 are made to pass through the body 7 and led into the second dust collecting passage 32 and discharged to the outside of the turn table 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
