<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous liquid ejection head, which has no effect on the flight of a liquid droplet (used liquid droplet) used for printing, and which collects the liquid droplet (unused liquid droplet) not used for printing. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid ejection head, a liquid surface is protruded from an opening of a collection nozzle 102 so that an ejection nozzle 101 and a collection nozzle 102 are positioned on the flying trajectory of the liquid droplet ejected from the ejection nozzle 101. Then, the unused droplet is made to collide and unite with the liquid surface projected from the collection nozzle 102, and thereby the unused droplet is collected by retreating the liquid surface. Also, a structure for limiting a flow of the liquid between a center region of the opening and the inner peripheral surface region, in the interior of the collection nozzle 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
