<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simultaneous opening/closing mechanism for double doors which is durable, simple structure, and capable of being installed to a minimum space. <P>SOLUTION: An opening/closing mechanism 30 provided to double doors 1 comprises: a pair of drive gears 32a and 32b provided to rotating shafts 31 of a left door 11 and a right door 12 respectively; one rack 33a disposed to one side of one drive gear 32a and the other rack 33b disposed to the other side of the other drive gear 32b; and a frame 34 for transferring linear movement of the one rack 33a to the other rack 33b. With the other rack 34b being moved toward the same direction as the one rack 34a by the frame 34, the other drive gear 32b is rotated in a direction opposite to a rotating direction of the one drive gear 32a, whereby the right door 12 is opened automatically when the left door 11 is opened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
