<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a BGR circuit and a sub-BGR circuit capable of operating on nanoampere-level current without using a resistor. <P>SOLUTION: A current source circuit 10 generates a predetermined amount of current. A voltage generation circuit 20 includes a PNP bipolar transistor Q1 and outputs a base-emitter voltage V<SB POS="POST">BE</SB>of the PNP bipolar transistor Q1 having a negative temperature characteristic that depends on the band gap voltage of a semiconductor element based on the current from the current source circuit 10. A temperature characteristic control circuit 30 generates a voltage V<SB POS="POST">GG</SB>with a positive temperature characteristic that substantially cancels the negative temperature characteristic of the base-emitter voltage V<SB POS="POST">BE</SB>based on the current from the current source circuit 10, and outputs an output voltage V<SB POS="POST">REF1</SB>after adding the voltage V<SB POS="POST">GG</SB>to the base-emitter voltage V<SB POS="POST">BE</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
