<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep measurement timing constant, eliminating the need for other devices and settings, in monitoring the operating condition of a rolling linear motion element that repeats a reciprocating motion via a rolling element. <P>SOLUTION: An operating condition monitoring apparatus of the invention generates a trigger signal from an acceleration signal obtained through one vibration acceleration sensor 4 based on data of a vibration having passed through a first filter 11 that allows an extremely low frequency component to pass therethrough, and at the same time, acquires monitoring information based on a frequency component having passed through a second filter 12 that allows a frequency higher than that of the extremely low frequency component to pass therethrough. Then, the monitoring apparatus determines the operating condition of the rolling linear motion element using the operating condition determination information, of the monitoring information, having been extracted based on the trigger signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
