<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cadmium-free material based on silver. <P>SOLUTION: The method comprises steps of: providing a first alloy containing the silver and at least one kind of an oxidizable alloying element, and containing no cadmium; increasing the surface area of the first alloy containing the silver and at least the one kind of the oxidizable alloy element to obtain a second alloy; carrying out first heat treatment of the second alloy, wherein the heat treatment is performed in a reducing atmosphere to obtain a third alloy; and performing second heat treatment of the third alloy, wherein the heat treatment is performed in an oxygen containing atmosphere to obtain a fourth alloy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
