<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a placeholder which is easy to manufacture, is used for various purposes, improves load dissipation and facilitates in-growth of human or animal tissue. <P>SOLUTION: The place holder to be embedded into human or animal body includes: a first tubular body (4) having a jacket surface with a plurality of openings for in-growth of adjacent tissue; and at least one second tubular body (2 and/or 3) having a jacket surface with a plurality of openings.
