<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oscillator which uses a piezoelectric element and has a novel structure. <P>SOLUTION: A support member 40 has an opening 42. A piezoelectric film 22 is in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of the opening 42 and is constituted of a resin material having a piezoelectric effect. A first electrode 24 is in contact with one surface of the piezoelectric film 22, and a second electrode is in contact with the other surface of the piezoelectric film 22. The oscillator is used, for example, as an oscillation source of a parametric speaker or an oscillation source of a sound wave sensor.
