<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device that can safely and reliably turn off a transistor in a motor drive circuit even if an open failure in a driving signal path occurs therein. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive device includes a transistor drive circuit 5 that performs on-off control of transistors by providing a driving signal to transistors Q1 through Q6 of a motor drive circuit 3. A set of resistors Rgs and/or capacitors Cgs are connected between a set of gates and sources of the transistors Q1 through Q6 (or between a set of bases and emitters) while the set of resistors and/or capacitors are placed inside of the transistors to turn off the transistors Q1 through Q6 in a case of an open failure occurring in the driving signal path from the transistor drive circuit 5 to the transistors Q1 through Q6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
