摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain high-speed compression coding with high accuracy at continuous imaging. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 100 includes: an imaging unit 104 for generating a plurality of image data which are continuous in the time direction by continuous imaging; an image process unit for correcting an image data compression rate based on a correction element to correct the image data, and for compression-coding using an in-screen prediction coding scheme; a data control unit 124 for storing the compression-coded image data into an image storage unit; a present compression rate derivation unit 130 for deriving a present compression rate which is an actual compression rate of the compression-coded image data; a present compression rate retention unit 132 for retaining a plurality of present compression rates continuously in the time direction; a next compression rate prediction unit 134 for predicting a next compression rate which is an image data compression rate to be compression-coded in the next time, from either the retained plurality of present compression rates or both the retained plurality of present compression rates and the image data compression rate compression-coded in the present time; and a correction element derivation unit for deriving the correction element based on the next compression rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
