<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in detection accuracy of a focus adjustment state of an optical system. <P>SOLUTION: A focus detection device of the present invention includes a light-receiving unit for receiving a pair of light bundles including a first light bundle and a second light bundle respectively transmitted through a pair of different regions on an exit pupil of an optical system and outputting a pair of signals including a first signal 410 corresponding to the first light bundle greater in an amount of light than the second light bundle and a second signal 420 corresponding to the second light bundle, displacement amount detection means for displacing the second signal 420 with respect to the first signal 410 with reference to the first signal 410 and detecting an amount of displacement between phases of the pair of signals, and focus detection means for detecting a focus adjustment state of the optical system based on the amount of displacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
