<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the occurrence of tooth contact noise upon spur teeth of spur tooth rack belts passing a connecting part between a casing and guide rails. <P>SOLUTION: In the roof apparatus 10 for a vehicle, the pair of spur tooth rack belts 35 include, on faces opposing each other, the plurality of spur teeth orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. On the front side of each of the guide rails 15, a slope part 70 configuring a portion of the casing 52 and inclined to become higher toward the rear side, is provided. In the guide rails 15, at a location separated from each other in the car width direction, a pair of guide parts 22 for guiding the spur tooth rack belts 35 in the front and rear direction is provided. Each of the guide parts 22 includes a bottom wall part and a pair of restriction wall parts 24 positioned at both side parts in the car width direction of the bottom wall part. At the front end of each guide rail 15, a cutout part 46 formed by cutting out the bottom wall part of each guide part 22 is provided, wherein the inside of each slope part 70 and the inside of each guide part 22 are communicated via each cutout part 46. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
