<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server cooling system capable of supplying cooling water to multiple servers, an equal amount of the cooling water per each server, with a smaller number of pumps in a vertically-long server rack. <P>SOLUTION: Two water utilization units 12 are formed by combining multiple servers 2 in a vertically-long server rack 1. Each water utilization unit 12 has a small water supply pump 13 on a water supply header 3. A suction port 14 on the water supply pump 13 is connected to the water supply header 3, and a delivery port 15 on the water supply pump 13 is connected to each server 2 in the water utilization unit 12 through a distribution pipe 16. A spiral pipe is used in the distribution pipe 16, and the effective pipe length of the distribution pipe 16 is made adjustable by changing the helical pitch of the spiral pipe. A drain port 6 on the server 2 is connected to a drain pipe 4 through a common drain pipe 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
