<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a charging device as well as reduce the installation capacity of the device so as to achieve reduction of energy loss, costs, and installation area. <P>SOLUTION: A fast charging device 10 comprises: a storage battery 14 for the device capable of charging an external storage battery 30; an AC/DC converter 12 using a commercial power supply 8 as the power source; and a DC/DC converter for increasing the input voltage. When charging the external storage battery 30 using the fast charging device 10, the output of the storage battery 14 for the device is supplied to the primary side of the DC/DC converter 20 designed as an insulated type as well as to its grounding side wiring 21 at the secondary side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
