<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting fixture capable of improving its quality level by preventing rainwater permeated inside the lighting fixture from splashing on electronic components and sockets mounted on a fixture body. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting fixture 10 includes the fixture body 11, a straight-tube type lamp 16 mounted on the fixture body 11, sockets 18 electrically and mechanically connected with both ends of the straight-tube type lamp 16, a draining plate 19 arranged outside at least one of the sockets 18, a cover 22 mounted on an axis of the straight-tube type lamp 16 in front of the fixture body 11 with knurled thumb screws 21, and a groove 23 for guiding the rainwater permeated through the knurled thumb screws 21 in a designated direction.
