<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device, a monitoring method, and a program capable of preventing omission in monitoring a suspicious person while reducing burden on an administrator. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring device 10 includes: an imaging unit 11 for making a camera 20 photograph a face of a person existing in a set area and acquiring image data of the photographed face; a storing unit 13 for storing image data of a face of a previously registered person; a calculation unit 13 for comparing the image data acquired by the imaging unit 11 and the image data stored in the storing unit 13 and calculating a percentage of agreement between the photographed face and the face of the previously registered person; and a determination unit 14 for performing gradual determination according to a value of the percentage calculated by the calculation unit 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
