<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame transfer apparatus capable of preventing entry information from being deleted wastefully while surely adding new entry information to a MAC address table. <P>SOLUTION: A frame transfer apparatus 100 stores a MAC address table including the entry information which associates a MAC address with a port identifier for identifying a communication port. The frame transfer apparatus 100 contains a learning processing part 110 which adds the entry information to the MAC address table when the MAC address table does not include the entry information which associates the port identifier with a transmission source MAC address included in the received frame. The learning processing part 110 contains an entry information deletion part 111 which deletes the entry information from the MAC address table in advance of the addition of the entry information when the quantity of the entry information which has already been included in the MAC address table is more than a predetermined threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
