<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for tightening a screw, which prevents a screw from falling in a screw feeding operation, can reliably feed a screw even when being operated at high speed, can easily take out a screw without placing a load on a driver bit, peripheral members around the driver bit, the screw and the like when delivering the screw, has a simple device structure and can shorten takt time, and to provide a method for tightening a screw. <P>SOLUTION: The device for tightening a screw includes: a screw aligning unit in which screws are aligned and stand by; a screw tightening unit for tightening a screw; and a screw feeding unit for transferring a screw to the screw tightening unit from the screw aligning unit. In the device for tightening a screw, the screw feeding unit includes: a taking out block having a guide cover and a lock device; and a first actuator for transferring the taking out block to the screw tightening unit from the screw aligning unit. The taking out block holds a screw by the guide cover and the lock device, the lock device holds the screw by pressing the guide cover in one direction and releases the pressing at the screw tightening unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
