REAL-TIME ANGLE-OF-ARRIVAL ESTIMATION DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a real-time angle-of-arrival estimation device and a method thereof.

SOLUTION: An angle-of-arrival estimation device provided in the invention comprises: multiple direction combining parts for displacing a phase of each signal received from each array antenna to combine the signals after displacing their phases so that each angle of arrival of the signals is changed as much as a certain angle; and an estimation part for using an angle of arrival having a radiation gain within a certain range of differential value of radiation gain between two signals among output signals of the direction combining parts, to determine the angle of arrival of each received signal. And an angle-of-arrival estimation method provided in the invention includes a direction combining step performed by the direction combining parts and an estimation step performed by the estimation part.
