<p>The disclosed semiconductor light-emitting element is provided with a laminate unit comprising a p-type layer (5) and an n-type layer (7) laminated on either side of an active layer (6), wherein a portion of the light generated by the active layer (6) is emitted from a first surface of said laminate unit. The disclosed optical element is provided with a reflective layer which, disposed on a second surface of the laminate unit on the side opposite of the aforementioned first surface, reflects in the direction of the active layer the light generated by the active layer (6) and incident from the second surface. The reflective layer comprises a metal layer (1) and transparent electrode layers (2-4) that are conductive and transparent to the wavelengths generated by the active layer (6). The refractive index of the transparent conductive film (3) is lower than that of transparent conductive films (2, 4) and the p-type layer (7). The absorption coefficient of the transparent conductive film (3) is lower than that of the transparent conductive films (2, 4).</p> |
