The ornithopter has wings (10) movably attached above an airframe at a V-shaped tail unit (7), where wing movement is produced by analog rowing of arm and foot movement. A gear box-like device continuously changes amplitude of the wing movement on basis of a reduction ratio toward direction at constant rowing off, where the aspect ratio and shortening of an undercarriage (11) is continually enlarged by the gear box-like device at the constant rowing off. A cross-section of the airframe is triangularly formed.
