SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TESTING PERFORMANCE OF TRANSPONDER

PURPOSE: A satellite performance monitoring system and method thereof are provided to compensate frequency response features for satellite repeaters by using variation rates of signals according to weather conditions. CONSTITUTION: A satellite communication control unit(100A) transmits a reference signal and test signal to a satellite repeater(200). A satellite performance monitoring apparatus(100B) creates the test signals and the reference signal. The satellite performance monitoring apparatus creates frequency response features for the satellite repeater. The satellite performance monitoring apparatus calculates variation rates of the signals according to weather conditions. The satellite performance monitoring apparatus applies the calculated variation rates of the signals to the frequency response features.
