PURPOSE: A blue phosphorescent host material is provided to improve electrical stability and luminous efficiency, and to manufacture an organic electroluminescent device emitting blue light capable of high brightness and high color purity. CONSTITUTION: A compound is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R1 and R2 are independently (C1-C20)alkyl or (C6-C20)aryl, wherein the aryl can be substituted with (C3-C20)heteroaryl; Ar1 and Ar2 are independently (C6-C20)arylene; R3 and R4 are independently (C3-C20) heteroaryl or (C6-C20)aryl substituted with (C3-C20)heteroaryl; and a and b are an integer of 1 or 2.
