<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic method for detecting a transmitter and identifying a key transmitter information to perform a position detection utilizing a base station transmitter signal and a system for automatically determining a cell transmitter parameter to detect a position of a wireless device facilitating a use of a cell site transmitter signal as a part of a plurality of wireless networks. <P>SOLUTION: A mobile station (a MS) measures signals transmitted by base stations geographically scattered in a wireless network. When a part of key site information includes information related to a transmitter such as a position of the transmitter, transmitter signal power, signal propagation, and a transmitter signal timing, a position of the MS can be determined by a result obtained by measuring transmitter signals by the MS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
