<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal device, a server, a screen display method, a screen control method, and a computer program that suitably displays a screen of a display part of the terminal device. <P>SOLUTION: The terminal device includes a function part and the display part. The terminal device receives an instruction associated with display of a first-kind window and identified with a characteristic identifier, and an instruction instructing operation of the function part and identified with the characteristic identifier from the server. When the instruction associated with the display of the first-kind window is received, the first-kind window is displayed at the display part according to the instruction (S116). When the function part is instructed to operate and is in operation, a second-kind window is displayed according to information stored in the terminal device (S130).
