<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positioning device, a positioning method, and a program which can perform position measurement by switching a mode as appropriate even when the positioning device is brought in a different hold state. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning device held on a pedestrian for performing position measurement includes: an autonomous navigation sensor which performs detection related to a motion and a direction; satellite positioning means which performs position measurement by receiving a signal from a positioning satellite; autonomous positioning means(S4 to S6, S8 to S10) which performs position measurement by finding a relative position change based on an output from the autonomous navigation sensor; hold state determination means (S3) which determines a hold state of the positioning device; and positioning control means which creates a series of position data sets along a moving path for the pedestrian by controlling the satellite positioning means and the autonomous positioning means, and which switches, based on a determination result made by the hold state determination means, a mode for position measurement performed by the autonomous positioning means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
