<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform ink filling and cleaning without using a cap, a suction pump or the like mounted to a head. <P>SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 100 has a structure in which a pressurization valve 30 is connected to a negative pressure valve 10. When ink supply pressure increases, a pressure in a first chamber 31 of the pressurization valve 30 increases, and a valve 36 opens. Ink is fed from the first chamber 31 to a second chamber 32 through an ink path 35 and fed into an ink chamber 11 of the negative pressure valve 10 through a bypass ink flow path 21. When the ink chamber 11 is filled with the ink at high pressure, a flexible membrane 16 expands, and a valve 18 closes. When the ink is fed from the first chamber 31 to the second chamber 32, the valve 36 closes. When the ink supply pressure is changed to low pressure, the inkjet printer returns to the original state. Since ink filling or cleaning can be performed by switching the ink pressure between high pressure and low pressure, suction by the suction pump after attaching the cap to the head 1 is unnecessary, thereby work can be simplified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
