摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostriction force sensor having a sufficient sensitivity, a manufacturing method of a plate like member for the magnetostriction force sensor, a ring like member for the magnetostriction force sensor, and a manufacturing method of the ring like member for the magnetostriction force sensor.

SOLUTION: The magnetostriction force sensor includes a magnetostrictive material in which a magnitude of magnetostriction in a specific direction is larger than a magnitude of magnetostriction in a direction perpendicular to the specific direction. In the manufacturing method of the plate like member for the magnetostriction force sensor, when manufacturing the plate like member composed of the magnetostrictive material in which a magnitude of magnetostriction in its length direction is larger than a magnitude of magnetostriction in a direction perpendicular to the length direction, the plate like member is cut out in a columnar crystal direction from a coagulated member or a cast member in which a columnar crystal structure is formed in a direction.
