<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that prevents image formation remaining stopped rather than stopping image formation, when fixing pressure corresponding to sheets on which an image is designated to be formed, and fixing pressure changed by changing means that changes fixing pressure by fixing means do not coincide. <P>SOLUTION: After the last sheet is printed (step 104), when the current fixing mode is an envelop mode and a sheet designated by subsequent image forming information is not an envelope (steps 106-110), an image forming apparatus performs control to output a sheet of plain paper on which a message is formed for prompting a user to return the fixing mode to a normal mode (steps 112-120). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
