ADJACENT CELL OPTIMIZATION METHOD, BASE STATION AND SYSTEM

An adjacent cell optimization method, base station and system are provided in the embodiments of the present invention, which relates to the field of the communications technology. The method comprises: superimposition networking is performed on a first network and a second network, wherein there is a joint coverage area between a first cell in the first network and a second cell in the second network, and a base station corresponding to the first cell is different from a base station corresponding to the second cell; when the base station corresponding to the second cell detects that a terminal in the second cell reports an unrecognized Physical Cell Identifier (PCI),the base station corresponding to the second cell acquires a Global Cell Identifier (GCI) corresponding to the unrecognized PCI, and determines a cell corresponding to the GCI as a missed-matching adjacent cell in the first cell; and the base station corresponding to the second cell sends information of the missed-matching adjacent cell to a Base Station (BSS) or an Operation Support System (OSS) corresponding to the first cell, so that, the BSS and the OSS acquires the missed-matching adjacent cell in the first cell according to the information of the missed-matching adjacent cell, and adds the missed-matching adjacent cell into a adjacent cell list in the first cell.
