<p>Minimize the number of summation operations and the amount of computation required in a computation of an estimate value X^ of a transmission symbol through Bayesian MMSE equalization, and also mitigate characteristic degradation, by approximating a discrete constellation of the transmission symbol with a uniformly continuous distribution. In a summation operation for each transmission symbol which configures a transmission vector in a Bayesian MMSE equalization which is carried out for each transmission symbol, one transmission symbol from among the transmission symbols is treated as a closed form which does not include an integral in place of the summation operation of the transmission symbol by approximating a discrete constellation with a uniformly continuous distribution, and carrying out the summation operation on the remaining transmission symbols from among the transmission symbols whereon the approximation is not carried out.</p> |
