PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to efficiently emit light incident from a light source to an upper part and a lower part of the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A first optical member(140) is located on a light guide plate. A first liquid crystal panel(160) is located on the first optical member. A second optical member(150) is located in a lower part of the light guide plate. A second liquid crystal panel(170) is located on a lower part of the second optical member.
