PURPOSE: A camera module and lens shading correction method are provided to prevent the excess of correction in adjacent areas without using a fixed lens shading correction value. CONSTITUTION: An image capturing unit(100) measures a focus distance in an automatic focus method. An image data correcting unit(120) receives the focus distance and image data from the image capturing unit. The image data correcting unit acquires diagonal view angle values corresponding to the focus distance from a diagonal view angle table. The image data correcting unit selects a lens shading correction function. The image data correcting unit applies the selected lens shading correction function to the image data. |
