<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser processing apparatus provided with a light beam transmitting means which can transmit a laser beam oscillated by a laser oscillator to a light focusing unit without focusing by a focusing lens. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser processing apparatus, the light beam transmitting means includes: a wavelength band expanding means 64 for expanding the wavelength band of the pulsed laser beam oscillated by the pulsed laser beam oscillator 61; a pulse time width expanding means 65 for expanding the pulse time width of the pulsed laser beam the wavelength band of which is expanded by the wavelength band expanding means; the focusing lens 66 for focusing the pulsed laser beam the pulse time width of which is expanded by the pulse time width expanding means; an optical fiber 67 on which the pulsed laser beam focused by the focusing lens is made incident and with which the beam is transmitted; a collimating lens 68 for collimating the pulsed laser beam transmitted by the optical fiber into a parallel beam; and a pulse time width compressing means 69 by which the pulsed laser beam collimated into the parallel beam by the focusing lens is compressed into the original pulse time width and transmitted to the light focusing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
