<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition timing control device of an internal combustion engine, the device being capable of accurately obtaining a leaning value for controlling ignition timing of an internal combustion engine, even in an operation region with a small leaning frequency in actual operation conditions of a vehicle or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The ignition timing control device of an internal combustion engine corrects a basic value, which is set on the basis of an operation state of the internal combustion engine, by a feedback correction term updated in accordance with the presence or the absence of knocking and by a learning value updated on the basis of the feedback correction term. Upon carrying out an appropriate ignition timing control even in an operation region where a knocking limit transition amount varies by separately learning a basic leaning value corresponding to an operation state in a relatively wide range and a multipoint learning value corresponding to an operation state in a relatively narrow range, the device applies a reflecting process for avoiding excessive reflection of learning about the same knocking limit transition factor on the above leaning values, only to a multipoint learning value with a learning frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
