<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction machine capable of reducing consumption power of a multifunction machine system consisting of a plurality of multifunction machines and canceling shutdown processing that is instructed from an external device. <P>SOLUTION: The multifunction machine includes: a packet transmission/reception part for transmitting/receiving a packet through a communication network; a shutdown request detection part for detecting a shutdown request from an external device on the basis of the received packet; a shutdown execution part for executing shutdown processing on the basis of the shutdown request; a screen display part for displaying a shutdown screen that includes a message indicating that the shutdown processing is being executed on the basis of the shutdown request; and a canceling operation detection part for detecting canceling operation during a display of the shutdown screen.
