<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable selection of operation to be started in accordance with the amount of change of an environment signal which changes with the lapse of time. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device which receives output from a sensor comprises: an environment signal acquisition part which acquires the environment signal input from the sensor at predetermined sampling intervals; an environment signal holding part which holds the acquired environment signal at least until the next sample section arrives; a difference amount acquisition part which acquires a difference amount that is a difference between a first environment signal, i.e., the acquired environment signal, and a second environment signal, i.e., an environment signal obtained preceded by at least one sample section and held in the environment holding part; and an operation selection part which selects an operation to be started on the basis of the acquired difference amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
