<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatback provided with a simple structure, in which a frame is hardly deformed or rotated by external force received by the seatback. <P>SOLUTION: The seatback 1 for a vehicle seat has a frame 1a to which a pad 1b is mounted.
