<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die capable of reducing deposition of residue (powder burr) onto a sliding surface. <P>SOLUTION: The die for casting 10 comprising a fixed die 11, a movable die 12 mated with the fixed die 11, and a slide die 13 slidably provided at the movable die 12 is provided with: a sliding surface 26 which is provided in the movable die 12 and on which the slide die 13 carries out sliding; a vent hole 27 which is provided in the movable die 12 at the end part, on the side of a cavity 25, of the sliding surface 26, and allows the powder burr deposited on the sliding surface 26 to escape; a discharge cavity 28 which is provided in the movable die 12 in such a way as to extend downward from the vent hole 27 in order to discharge the powder burr 38 to the outside; and an air jet hole 23 which is provided in the slide die 13 so as to eject air forward from the front surface 22 of the slide die 13. Because the powder burr deposited on the sliding surface is blown away to the vent hole by air and discharged to the outside from the discharge cavity, powder burr deposition onto the sliding surface can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
