<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for setting an alignment sequence and size of a merchandise image displayed on a liquid crystal display in a vending machine having a liquid crystal display. <P>SOLUTION: A portable terminal accepts setting of a display pattern for displaying merchandise images on a liquid crystal display of a vending machine, and accepts setting of merchandise information for respective columns of the vending machine. The portable terminal performs mapping between the columns of the vending machine and respective display areas of the display pattern, and transmits the display pattern and the merchandise information associated with the columns that are mapped with the respective display areas of the display pattern by mapping means, to the vending machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
