<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner that has a small pressure loss of suction air, prevents the volume of suction air from lowering, and collects relatively light-weight dust. <P>SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner with an electric fan for generating suction air, includes: a first cyclone part for sucking dust together with suction air, and separating the dust from the air by centrifugation; and a second cyclone part for further centrifugal separation of the air exhausted from the first cyclone part, wherein the first cyclone part and the second cyclone part are arranged side by side. The first cyclone part collects large dust, and the second cyclone part collects fine dust.
