<p>[Problem] To implement a compact, inexpensive, sufficiently wide-angle image pickup lens having satisfactorily corrected chromatic aberration of magnification, suitability for use with an image pickup element, and high optical performance. [Solution] An image pickup lens (1) is provided with, in order from the object side, a negative first lens (L1) having a concave surface facing the image side, a positive second lens (L2) having a convex surface facing the object side in a paraxial region, a stop, and a positive third lens (L3) having a convex surface facing the image side in the paraxial region. The Abbe's numbers with respect to the d line of materials constituting the first lens (L1) and the third lens (L3) are 40 or more, and the Abbe's number with respect to the d line of a material constituting the second lens (L2) is 40 or less. The following conditional expressions (1), (2) are satisfied: 1.4<D3/f<2.9 (1) -5.0<f1/f<-1.8 (2) where f is the focal length of an entire system, D3 is the thickness of the center of the second lens (L2), and f1 is the focal length of the first lens (L1).</p> |
