摘要 <p>The present invention rapidly and accurately measures the optical characteristic of an optical film having a large area. An optical film (12) to be measured is mounted on a surface illumination unit (14). Circularly polarized light is cast on the optical film (12) from the surface illumination unit (14). By the movement of the optical film (12) in an X direction, a measurement pixel (E) on the optical film (12) passes first to fourth image capture areas of a CCD camera in an image capturing unit (15) in sequence. The CCD camera captures an image of the measurement pixel (E) multiple times when the measurement pixel (E) passes each of the image capture areas. The result acquired by adding output values obtained by capturing the image multiple times is defined as the measured value in the image capture area. The Stokes parameter of the measurement pixel (E) is calculated from the measured values in the four image capture areas. The Stokes parameters of all measurement pixels (E) on the optical film (12) are acquired.</p>
