PURPOSE: An optical input device and a method for inputting a command using the same are provided to easily execute a specific command by sensing the operation of a user which is designated in an optical input unit. CONSTITUTION: A pair of first optical input units(10) is arranged between keypads arranged on an input key pad. The pair of first optical input units sense movement. The pair of first optical input units executes a specific command when fixed movement is sensed. A second optical input unit(20) is arranged between different key pads with the pair of first optical input units and sense movement. The pair of first optical input units is arranged in the same distance with the second optical input unit as the center. The second optical input unit moves the location of a pointer by sensing the movement. |
