CONSTITUTION: A self-powered solar tracker comprises a solar sensor unit for a height adjustment(110), a solar sensor unit for horizontal motion(120), a passive element circuit(130), a driving unit for horizontal motion(150). The solar sensor unit for height adjustment comprises one or more a first and second optical sensor. The solar sensor unit for height adjustment senses sunlight to control the height of a solar collection panel. The solar sensor unit for horizontal motion comprises one or more a third optical sensor and fourth optical sensor. The solar sensor unit for horizontal motion sensors the sunlight for horizontal rotation of the solar collection panel. The passive device circuit has one or more a first and second comparators. The first comparator compares the difference between output light quantity of the first optical sensor and second optical sensor. The second comparator compares the difference between the output light quantity of the third optical sensor and fourth optical sensor. The passive element circuit outputs the driving value in order that the height adjustment and the horizontal rotation of the solar panel is operated for the high light quantity The driving unit for horizontal motion is provided with driving power from a solar cell of the solar collection panel and controls the height of the solar collection panel according to the driving value of the passive element circuit.
