PURPOSE: A method for mooring a rig in a harbor is provided to reduce design period using pier mooring and facilitate the mooring of a rig in a harbor to perform design work. CONSTITUTION: A method for mooring a rig in a harbor comprises following steps. The anchor connected to the anchor line of the rig moves down to the bottom of the sea inside a harbor(S1). The anchor moves away from the rig. The anchor is positioned on the bottom of the sea. The rig pulls the anchor line. The spike portion of the leading edge of the anchor is fixed in the bottom of the sea(S3).
